Spiritual Healing is a form of energy healing taught by the National Federation of Spiritual Healers [“NFSH”] in the United Kingdom and United States. The NFSH was formed in the U.K. in 1954 and Harry Edwards, probably the most well-known and significant healer of his generation, was the first member.  The NFSH Charitable Trust Limited is acknowledged to be the principal spiritual healing organization in Europe with more than 6,500 members.  It is highly respected throughout the European medical community with many healers working in hospitals, medical practices, hospices and veterinary practices.

NFSH - Healing In America, an affiliated member, is now based in the USA with the aim of promoting the availability of Spiritual Healing to everyone. 

Spiritual Healing is not associated with any religion and is non-denominational.  It does see the source of healing as divine, but respects the right of the individual to his or her interpretation of that source.  The word “spiritual” refers to the quality of spirituality implicit in the healing process.  All members of the NFSH are bound by a strict Code of Conduct.  Members undergo a two year course of study and become Healer Members of the NFSH after satisfying the NFSH that they are of good character and have reached an acceptable standard as spiritual energy healers.
